The Toyota Fortuner is officially launched even as we type in this description.
As usual we have our friendly Toyota dealership, UnitedStar Corporation in Aman Suria to thank for letting us do a quick preview of this latest update of the Fortuner.
The version we are featuring is the 2.8 l Diesel turbo variant. The good news is this Fortuner gets the latest 204 PS 500 Nm powerplant and has the same 6-Speed auto transmission.
Unlike other SUVs the Fortuner is a full-fledged 4 x 4 vehicle. In fact it shares the same drive train as the Hilux, with the exception that this is a 7-seater full size SUV, and is more comfortable because it runs coil spring suspension at the rear.
